Blytheco’s website was a stack of static HTML files managed in Dreamweaver. It worked, but the marketing team couldn’t move fast. Even small updates meant digging through files and leaning on technical help.
Working alongside Blytheco’s front-end engineer, I built the Umbraco back end and set up a component-based page system. Marketers could assemble pages from approved blocks, keep layouts consistent, and publish updates without touching code. We hosted the site on Umbraco Cloud to keep releases and maintenance straightforward.
We also connected the site to NetSuite. Blytheco manages a product catalog there, so we synced selected items into the website and kept product info in step with what lived in their ERP.
After launch, creating new pages took far less time and the team had more day-to-day control of the site. I stayed on as the main Umbraco point person, trained the team, and provided ongoing consulting support until they later moved the site to WordPress. Want something similar for your business?
